How do I write my number correctly?

Use the country code followed by your full number, digits only. For Pakistan that means 92 instead of 0, so 03001234567 becomes 923001234567. Never add +, spaces or dashes.

Does the person need my number saved?

No. That is the point of a wa.me link: the chat opens directly and your number is not required in their contacts.

Will the message be sent automatically?

No message is sent by itself. WhatsApp opens the chat with your text typed in the box, and the person presses send.
